Hello and thank you for visiting JesseWelch.net. I am a graphic designer for print and web, as well as a digital artist. Here you can see samples of all the different ways I express my creativity. From the large variety of printed material, to the growing site design, here you can find my selections for this online portfolio. The artwork section will give further insight into who I am as a creative mind. But before you get to all that though, if you want to continue reading, you can hear some of my perspective on Graphic Design, Creativity and Life. On the top right of any page, you will find my contact information. Thanks for visiting.

Graphic Design :
To look around and see the influence of graphic design in not just my life, but everyone's, I see the opportunity to make my mark in the world. It surrounds us constantly and with forward and original thinking, I can make positive additions to the aesthetic world. The best way to create effective designs is to research and learn from others mistakes, as well as their successes. So the ever expanding world of creativity is open to anyone's improvements, including mine.

Creativity :
Inside us all there is an amount of creativity that we are born with. It may not be equal in everyone, but it's always there. The trick is to harness it and turn it into more than what you're given. Growth is an inseparable part of any aspect of life and in order to be good at anything, you must grow. You must also fight the temptation to think that you are good enough at something. Constant movement, and constant growth, that's what creativity is.

Life :
There are many different aspects of each person's life. You can divide them into little pieces that all add up to make a whole. You can see lines of separation in almost anything you do. From personal, to work, to relationships with family, friends, and everyone else a person could know. But it takes more than separation to get anywhere. There is a cohesiveness that needs to be recognized in order to move forward. Like drops of water falling in a lake, each creates ripples of it's own, but eventually, all the ripples will connect, and in turn, effect each other. It is this idea, applied to life that makes the difference. I feel that consideration must be taken for how everything effects a person as a whole, not in small pieces. Life is not divided, it's a continuous and flowing event. It is our job to enjoy as much of it as possible.
